My lil Cupcake turns ONE!!!

My little cupcake turned One on June one one one. Sometimes I feel like time really needs to slow down. Although Lily Mae had a rough start she has not let that hold her back at all. She is walking, talking, and is finally getting her teeth ( two little white nubs on the bottom are finally breaking free).

Her Birthday week was a fun filled busy week. On Monday night Grandma & Grandpa Peterson and Uncle Jared arrived. Tuesday we went to Indias award ceremony and playing in the water. Wednesday was Lily Mae's offical birthday we spent the day making cakes for the party on Thursday, but grandpa thought she needed a cake on her birthday even though her party was the next day so he made her her own special cake. Then we had popcorn and a movie...gnomeo and juliet( so so adorable). Thursday was party which was mexican cusine and cake cake and more cake. I made three delicuios cakes..(mint chocolate chip, strawberry lemonade, and vanilla cokkies n creme). According to Lily, who tasted all three, they were a hit. That nightthe girls said their goodbyes to grandma and grandpa because they were leaving early in the morning. Saturday we went to Irving for a picnic for Tina's work. It was fun and hot. The girls played dodge ball which was funny. after that we headed to CArrolton to watch Xzavier and DeAaron play basketball, although i think sometimes we are badluck cause when we go they lose and as soon as we leave they win..hahaha. Thank goodness Sunday was a day of rest and we just laid around all day long. Needed that to recoop. What a week!!

Lily Mae is walking, Layla is reading....and I turned 31 WHAT!!

Lily Mae is taking more and more steps everyday. She is upto 6 to 8 steps. By this time next week she will be no stopping her. Still at 11 months old she has no sign of teeth. Just a big toothless grin. She gets very jealous of of the girls if they are getting more attention then her. I dont think she will not have a problem getting what she wants because she came into this world fighting for her spot in life and hasnt stopped and never will. I cant believe that she is a month away from being ONE..OMG where does the time go. The pro to her turning one is the bottles and formula go out the door. She is already mostly using a sippy cup..I think the binky is not going to be as easy but one withdrawl at a time...

Layla was attending the KIDS KIDS KIDS reading prep school in Overton and has learned so much. Her teacher gave me some books and worksheets to continue her progress for kindergarten. She is doing so well and her vocabulary has doubled as well as her sightwords. She likes to make silly sentences with her sight words and her sentence structure is improving everyday. Im pretty sure she is well set for kindergarten but it doesnt hurt to get more practice. She likes to "Play School". Her and India will get there work books and take tuns being the teacher and student and they will do the workbooks. I just hope she will always enjoy school and not get bored because I know she can go anywhere she wants to in life.

As for me I turned 31 on the 29th and Los took me to dinner and a movie it was so nice. My steak was amazing and the shrimp to die for. We went and saw Hanna I liked it while Los said he would have liked to see more of her assassin moves..(more blood)but it was alright. Again I thought it was good. Life is good ..I just finished my first 26 day cycle of the HCG diet and lost 30 pounds. In six weeks I will begin my second round.. I am hoping I can do good at the maintenence part to keep it off during those six weeks.

The missionarys stopped bty yesturday but I missed them. Lindsey was home and talked to them. Layla really liked them. They are gonna have a lady from the church contact us about piano lessons for the girls which is really exciting. Im excited for them to come by again.

Once again the grandparents spoiled the girls this easter..haha and I think the fact that it came in the mail was way exciting for them. Layla asks everyday "Can i check the mail, I know something came for me..maybe even a bill.." haha oneday she will learn..lol.

We are so blessed in family, I dont know what I would do with out you all. I love you ..xoxo

It's been awhile

Where to start where to start..
I figured since everyone who sees my blog is family I really do not have to go over everything in the past almost two years...hahaha
So I am going to restart the blog and pretent like its my first blog seems how it took me almost three weeks to figure out how to make changes and post.

So we have moved to Texas after living all of my thirty something years in Southern Nevada. I am loving it! Maybe it hasnt hit me yet but I wasnt scared or sad just really excited. The only thing missing is my family. The only person I could drag with me was Lindsey. I probably would be so okay with the move without her though.
So far the girls are having a blast. Layla is doing great and getting ready to start cheerleading. This is serious cheer too, not the day camp the have in Moapa Valley but practice three times a week for two hours that starts in july. Mind you the games dont start until end of August. She is super excited.
Lily Mae still has no teeth at almost eleven months but is taking her few steps at a time. She is starting to mimic certain sounds and has no problem yelling at Layla and India to get her point across whatever she is saying (not that we know) she is serious and she will be heard. She has gotten lost in the playroom acouple of times when I go looking for her I have to listen she gets mixed in with all of Layla and India's dolls..haha
As for me I am starting Academy of art university to take some photography classes, starting sewing classes, and maybe once Layla starts school some cake decorating classes. I am trying to take full advantage of the stay at home mom. Stay busy, and actually take up hobbies and try them out is what im gonna start kind of a bucket listof hobbies....
